Document imaging is the conversion of paper documents, usually to digital TIFF file format for inclusion in a TrialPro presentation or for use in discovery.

Imaging and scanning services include black & white imaging of documents and color imaging of photographs, maps, and other documents printed in color to computer displayable digital formats.

Additional IDEA document services include:

  • OCR (Optical Character Recognition) - the conversion of "typewritten" documents to retrievable text.  OCR technology is not 100% accurate so IDEA also provides OCR clean up or manual keying.

  • Coding/Indexing - the extraction of document and bibliographic information including: Bates numbers, attachment ranges, authors, recipients, document types, document titles and document attributes, in-text  names, organizations, key words and terms, etc. A load file is provided to import any of the coded elements in a client-chosen database retrieval system.
